FIGHT FOR LIVING WAGES AND HEALTHCARE
Walmart Watch: City of Chicago

Status: Alderman Brookins is pushing for a Walmart on 83rd and Stewart in the 21st Ward.  He is proposing an ordinance to amend a previous development agreement deleting a requirement that directs the Department of Community Development to initial uses in excess of 100,000 square feet.
Action Needed:

Tell Alderman Brookins he should not settle for poverty jobs for his constituents– the people of the 21st Ward deserve better.  He should hold Walmart accountable to a higher standard.
