Maynard R. Jerome

Maynard Jerome was appointed in 2003 as Executive Vice President and Director of Collective Bargaining for Local 881. He first joined the staff of Local 881 in 1997 as a Collective Bargaining Representative. Maynard began his career in the Labor Movement in 1971 while working in a unionized grocery store. Soon after becoming a Union member, he became the Steward and was active on organizing campaigns and other Union projects. He ultimately went on to work for the UFCW International where he held a variety of positions pertaining to organizing and collective bargaining at the Regional level. Maynard also serves as an Alternate Trustee for the UFCW Midwest Health and Welfare Fund.
